Contacting GodSource

As a fractal of GodSource is the very core of every being - like the one reading this line atm - the process involves not reaching somewhere, but rather relaxing and returning from all external identifications, which are part of being in this reality.

The simplest form consists in putting your body in a comfortable position (sitting, lying or even standing) in a wakeful state and give yourself the permission to do nothing and not having to think of anything. If thoughts or feelings come, it's ok, but you don't engage them, neither following nor rejecting them.

To assist the process you can make a deal with yourself, to direct your awareness lightly to the sensation of your breath entering and exiting your nose. From our deeply ingrained habits, the mind will automatically be drawn in by thoughts or feeling and when you become aware of it you can use your breath as an anchor and gently redirect your attention to it. 'Easy does it right' - you do not want to achieve anything, but relax from the habit of wanting to achieve.

For a start it's helpful to set apart a period of time, with some timing device to comfort your mind and to do it only for a short time (5 to 15 min) depending on how restless your mind is. Once your mind has becomes accustomed you can slowly increase the duration. In time a feeling of space and peace will arise, indicating a weakening of external entanglement and reemergence of your inner being. This is the essence of reconnecting with GodSource.

It helps to be in an environment, which is in tune with GodSource like nature or a place where people are or have been in contact with GodSource, like a cathedral or temple.

Through the ages many techniques have been developed to aid in the process of returning to ones core. In one type you direct your awareness to a sensation - sight, sound, etc. or a visualization to activate and focus your mind in a preliminary phase.

If you are an active person you can also use every automatic body activity like running or dancing as starting phase to achieve an alert and relaxed state before entering the silent part. In fact expanded awareness can happen also during that activity, what in sport is called 'being in the zone' and if you stay with that awareness rather than using it for a goal (literally in the case of football) it brings you closer to GodSource.
